Overall, I'm not going to judge the place by the one employee. I'll be back for sure.
Great steaks and variety on the menu. Love the old decor as much as the food and the view along the water. A little stroll around the back and over a walk bridge and you can see where the sound of rushing water is coming from. Wonderful service, definitely recommend.
This place seems excited to be part of Tiffin and was very welcoming to we new to Tiffin.
Food for the most part was amazing . I got a mill cut and to me that is where the amazing stopped. It was over half fat...yuck. but please understand everything else is top of the line. I just won't be getting that one steak. But I definitely will be going back ! The surf and turf was amazing the prime rib is amazing crab chicken chili mashed potatoes the list goes on and on I really did like it. The price was expected but the mandatory tip of 18% wasn't I was going to leave an 60.00 tip as it was when I was told that it wasn't enough... all she needed was 1.00 and some change more but idk I felt insulted a little. I have been to some nice places and not have a mandatory tip but 10 to 20% is expected I just didn't like it. That is why they got 4 stars.
The wait was about an hour long, and the food was decent, but because of the wait I expected something better. The staff seemed nice though, and kept coming by to refill our drinks. Overall, don't go here if you have some place to be because you will probably be late.
The bad, our server was less than attentive. We saw him have time for a smoke break, but not have time enough to keep our drinks filled.
For the second year we have enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Pioneer Mill! The buffet was delicious, staff was attentive and professional, and the wine shop offered a great selection of wine.
We went here for my birthday; my daughters picked the place. The food was fantastic and well spaced. We got appetizers, soup, and meals; and they didn't overlap at all. We had a fantastic conversation with the owner about the property, the fun things they do to support the community, and some great upcoming events.
